MissionOC is a new church in South Orange County, CA.
MissionOC is a new church in South Orange County, CA. We are committed to helping people find their purpose and live on mission. We exist to represent Jesus, restore God’s creation, and resource leaders. We believe this is done best through ones “family” (Oikos). This family is made up of the 8-15 people God has and will strategically and supernaturally place in your life.
We will come together on Sunday mornings to worship, be inspired, and develop relationships that will become our “Oikos” (small group).

Some have asked: “1 million?? you surely don’t mean 1 million, You mean you just want to influence a lot of people right?“
No. Growing up my pastor always taught me to never outlive your dreams. This dream is more than I can achieve in my lifetime. This is a vision to keep the church on its Mission for the next century.
We’re not really into the bullhorns or the signs at football games. We are into inviting your “Oikos” over for dinner, doing life with them, and helping those you love belong until they believe.

My earliest memories as a kid were to be 2 things when I grew up: First, I wanted to be a pastor. Second, I wanted to be a contractor because contractors build the churches that pastors lead. Although I later realized you don’t need to be a contractor to build a church, my passion for leading a church never subsided.
Over the past 15 years as a pastor, I have pursued multiple degrees in theology, organizational leadership, child and adolescent development, world religions, and family systems theory, all leading to the desire, call, and mission of planting a church.
Meet the Cody’s
We’re the Cody family, and we’re all about creating a space where people can find their purpose and connect deeply with who they are in Jesus. Beyond planting MissionOC, life for us is full of the simple joys—we love spending time together, especially on beach walks with our dog Indy, a German Shorthaired Pointer who keeps us on our toes. I’ve become pretty enamored with smoking meats and perfecting homemade pizzas, and I can’t pass up a good rugby game. Our hope is that through MissionOC, we can help people not just find a church but discover a community that feels like family, where they can be equipped and sent out to make a difference in the world.
Our Beliefs
We believe Jesus is Lord.
We are for Jesus and telling people of his life, death, and resurrection that saves us. We are dedicated to helping people know, trust, love, and follow him. We believe the Bible is the Word of God that the Holy Spirit uses to transform us to be evermore like Jesus.

Join the Launch Team
Start the church with us! We are looking for anyone and everyone who wants to build a community of people committed to eachother and being on mission.
Pray for Us
We need people who will join us in praying for every person who will come fill this church. God is up to something exciting!
Plant a Seed
Stand in the gap by sponsoring a seat for someone who does not yet know they need Jesus and this community in their life.
